Or – rather, not!! haha. At times he can look innocent. He can even act innocent – at times… but in general, my little boy is learning just how much he can get away with. And he’s testing us every chance he gets!!

His vocabulary is growing every day now too! So far, we have, of course, “mama,” “dada,” and “choo-choo,” “shoe,” “sock,” “thank you,” “dog,” “juice,” “Jameson.”  hmmm are there others? Well not only is he saying more and more, but “dada” is the default word for everything! I have begun to think that it’s actually his way of pointing around at the world asking what things are called. He will point to just about anything and say “dada” but it seems to have this questioning tone to it. It is quite amazing to see his little mind just churning when you know he’s learning something. Love it!

In addition to the words, he has found music. He loves to sing “The wheels on the bus” and do all of the movements. I dont think I’ve ever caught him saying any words here, just humming and rolling his arms round and round. If he is tired or not in a good mood, usually I can sing “Row, row, row your boat” and get at least a smile out of him.

I am super excited with this taste of summer lately, to get him in a pool swimming. I am sure he is going to love it! Next week we are doing swimming lessons twice a week for four weeks. That should be a fun experience!!
